How would you check for 12h time setting? Or can you just use " 06:01" to get proper time format?

If you use "06:01" and then check the time of the resulting date, it will be "00:00" if the format is the 12h setting. If it is the 24h setting, you will get "06:01".

So, as a script writer, you are screwed on setting a time unless you manage to guess right as to what the time format is set to on the target machine?
