There are no laws here in the UK requiring any sort of disclaimer in
email.
About the only law I can think of that (directly) requires something
to be in an email is one pertaining to "corporate communications" that
requires a company to put the registered business address and
registration number on ALL formal, written communications. This would
include emails, and appears as the last paragraph of his signature.
Thought of another one... there is also a law that requires senders of
UCE (Spam) to include and 'opt-out of future mailings' address
The legal status of the lengthy disclaimers (that I have so far
managed to avoid in my workplace) is dubious. It is certainly a common
practice, but has more to do with the lawyers trying to protect their
clients from perceived threats (and justify their inflated salaries?)
than any legal requirement.
