Dialog Box Placement

  • Thread-topic: Dialog Box Placement

One of my favorite and I think versatile applescript command is the "display
dialog" command. I use it for many different things: To monitor a very large
script and set footprints when things go wrong , as a debugging tool, as an
interaction tool and even to slow up a script when interacting with the
internet. But I have one issue with this command I hope someone can help me
with and that is controlling the placement of dialog box on the screen. I
find that I am constantly dragging it out of the way because it by default
places itself right in the middle of things so that I can't see what's going
on!

Thanks,

Tom Maffucci
