The link which I gave describes the different folders.

<startupVolume>:System:Library:Fonts" contains fonts which we are not allowed to remove.
It's a bit logical that its contents is not huge.


<startupVolume>:Library:Fonts" is the main fonts folder,
the one storing fonts which are available to every users.
As I am the unique user of my machine, my own rule is:
leave only Apple delivered fonts in this one (130 ones).
I just created a subfolder named "third party" where I store the third party fonts.
Given that, they are available from every user account but aren't mixed with the Apple ones.
