I tested one of my agents in this location. It works from there as well (after I reset its owner and group (as per documentation)).
Philip, What do you mean by owner and group
For those in /Library/LaunchAgents I use:
chown root:wheel /Library/LaunchAgents/com.my.agent.plist
and What documentation?
The main document is TN2083. For a quick reference there are <
x-man-page://launchctl> and <
x-man-page://5/launchd.plist>.
For the second plist you sent, it looks wrong to me.
Firstly, if you're running a script then I think somewhere along the line you should be going through /usr/bin/osascript. I actually run osascript through the Program '/bin/sh' and then in the ProgramArguments after the obligatory 'sh' and '-c' and then do the osascript call because I'm using other commands in the plist script as well.
Secondly, for the StartCalendarInterval values, the integers are zero-based for the Minute and Hour, but 1-based for Day, and Month <
x-man-page://crontab>.
