Deprecation of Applescript

  • Subject: Deprecation of Applescript

Hi,

I read lots of traffic in the Studio Users list about migrating to ASOC (Applescript Object C?), etc. Should we be planning to replace our Applescripts with a different language? if so,
when will Applescript no longer be supported?
what language?
where can we get it?
is there, or will there be, a translator?
where will we find documentation?
what does it cost?

Thanks, Bob.
