This reads the file without opening it in PhotoShop. [Not an absolute requirement now]
We were not using Leopard then and are just now upgrading this month.
Therefore, this went to the "waiting room" until sometime in the
future process.
I tested this script and it does work on TIF, JPG and PSD files.
It does not appear to work on PhotoShop EPS files.
Of course that is what I need it to do.
SO_o-o-o-o-o my questions are:
Have there been any changes that would allow it to work on EPS files?
Can I read and write [specifically] "Keywords" to these files?
Is there a way to do it within PhotoShop now? [I have to have the file open anyway]
We are using both PhotoShop 3 and PhotoShop 4.
We have both PowerPc and Intel Macs available.
It could all be done on Intel if required.
Thanks for all of your help

Final note which may help: We get TIF files that have to be opened in PhotoShop.
We Do several things to the
image and then save it as an EPS file.
After testing we found that adding MetaData [Keywords] to the original TIF file and the saving as an EPS
allows us to retain that data in the new file.
Of course in a perfect world it would be nice to be able to read the data at a later date from the EPS version.
