I have had several bugs on file for literally years against Address Book (since long before Snow Leopard).

For example (bug 4417198, from 2006):
make new (whatever)
requires that you add "at end of (whatevers)"
for some, but not all objects, for no apparent logical reason. Otherwise you get NSInternalScriptError.

Bug 5512384 (from 2007):
delete custom date 1 of person 2
gives NSInternalScriptError, even though person 2 exists and has two custom dates defined.

Also, bug 4483268 (also from 2006) on general unreliability.
