Unless I misread, the impression I got from the OP's response was that they'd got the impression that appscript had to be installed in order to do dynamic dispatch stuff. Whereas the whizzy magic in this case was entirely Ruby's own.

Otherwise, I'm totally for appscript everywhere; great dessert topping *and* floor wax too. :)
