I recently said ...

> I had intended to spend this afternoon looking at AppleScriptObjC and Xcode. Then I found a problem that got me off track. I was sent an AppleScriptObjC Xcode project. One of the files was a Smile document with a .applescript extension. When double-clicked, nasty things happened such as 1) it opened in Smile and 2) it launched Xcode. After an exchange of emails, I am told that it's an ASE document, not a Smile document. My afternoon has been wasted. @#$%!

What is screwed-up here is ...
In AppleScript Editor/Preferences/General, I have selected Default Script Editor = Smile.app (3.5.1).
If I (temporarily) select Default Script Editor = AppleScript Editor, then documents with the .applescript extension open correctly in ASE.
