The most recent AppleScript book is the one that I coauthored with Apple's AppleScript product manager, Sal Soghoian, "AppleScript 1-2-3" (Peachpit Press, 2009). It's part of the official Apple Training Series. The first several chapters in particular uses Sal's effective and much-loved approach to teaching AppleScript to beginners. More advanced topics are covered, as well. -- Bill Cheeseman email@hidden |
