As a beginner I read several books, and the one I like most is "Beginning Applescript" from Stephen G. Kochan.
It thaught me all the basics. In a step by step tutorial-like way. I read it twice.

I'd like to buy a good book on Applescript.

I've got `Applescript for Dummies' which was a mistake.

I've tried using `Applescript: the missing manual' and I don't get on with that approach at all.

Do people here have ideas for a good traditional style tutorial/ reference manual on Applescript?

Thank you,
Rowland.
