I used to have a script that worked but is now broken with a new version of firefox. I looked through the AS library for FF, but don't see any way to get this object, not with document or window properties or anywhere else.
Broken: Tell Application firefox Set myURL to "class curl" of window 1 End tell
What if you enclose Firefox between double quotes ?
Still doesn't work OMM.
It looks like Firefox has fried what little scripting it had.
The dictionary now has suites with no commands or classes.
When I look at the app with SD's explorer it shows nothing. No windows, no documents, no application no classes, just a blank page.
Its scripting was never well implemented, but now it's non-existent.
Safari is better, but not by much.
