Hello Brooks,

I have installed Safari 5 here some days ago and sent myself an email with a short body text and a PDF attachment. No obvious problem appeared.

Could you try the same on your box, thus without the help of AppleScript?
And even send me such a message, once without AppleScript, once with your script?

I ask, because it isn't immediately obvious from your problem's description to see where the problem ultimately may reside.

In the hope we'll find an explanation,
