Strange, as I re-typed, adjusted and re-tested it on a G4 box with 10.4.11 and Safari 4.0.3, and it worked without a glitch.
I doubt Safari 4.0.3 vs 4.0.4 is the problem here. On the other hand, as far as I remember, my Tiger install should be a rather "clean" one, without foreign scripting additions or application "enhancers" or... could yo have a look?
