Calling a handler in another applescript process

Sorry, but my brain fell out of my head today. Can anyone remind me what the command would be to call a hander in another applescript that is running as an app on a local machine?

looking for run script or something like that. Even tried using system events, but tells me that the app doesn't understand the "HI" message and I have a HI() handler in the compiled script that is running.

Thanks. Brain needs coffee.
