Hi Brian, Is there a way to send emails using Mail without having it save copies and such? We may send as many as 8,000 emails a day to subscribers on our animal rescue mailing lists, and the overhead of saving messages would not be something we'd like to have to deal with. I also came across this post for using a shell script from AppleScript to call Python, as another option: http://macscripter.net/viewtopic.php?id=33067This looks like it might be a good way to go also, though I'm not quite sure I could figure it all out on my own, having never used Python. - Jeff
Either empty the 'Sent' bin, or, if the emails to all 8000 are the same, send the one message with 8000 BCC recipients, and only one saved in the 'SEnt' bin.
