Yes, there is a bug with Entourage 2008 IMAP implementation of exactly that:
you can't refer to IMAP folders by name, but only by special status (e.g.
IMAP inbox folder) or by index:
folder 2 of folder 3 of (get IMAP inbox folder of IMAP account 1)
where you also need the explicit 'get' for the special status folder. Hint:
the index number is by alphabetical order *including* special folders (e.g.
Deleted Items, Drafts, etc. arranged alphabetically, not at the top as in
the UI).
This bug entered at an earlier update of Entourage 2008: I think it was
v12.2. Earlier versions than that (or maybe earlier than 12.1) are OK, as is
Entourage 2004 (v11.x), and also the new Outlook.
If you happen to know the folder's id number that always works without any
containments (folder id 1237).
