Apple's apps (like eg. FINDER) and any other 64 bit app will not read any more those PLUGINS.

Safari uses extensions. I only and solely pointed out, that Snow Leopard (64 bit Cocoa) does not support contexual menu plugins anymore (which were the primary way of extending the CM functionality before SnowLeo), but replaced it by services.

Therefore, it's better to stop this unfruitful discussion and come back to your initial question. Try to wrap your applescript as a service (btw. services MAY appear as contextual menu). There are a few good apps around to achieve that, e.g. ThisService.app. You get it here: http://wafflesoftware.net/thisservice/ or use Automator.
For more infos. read for example here: http://www.macworld.com/article/142419/2009/08/snowleopardservices.html, or http://www5.wind.ne.jp/miko/mac_soft/contextual_menu_x/index-en.html or google for example "contextual menu item snow leopard" anf you get a lot of help
