That's strange... unless I'm wrong, "Forward as Attachment" really
takes the full raw source of the email(s) when building the
attachment(s), and there shouldn't thus be any lack of information.
I would think so, too, Axel. I looked at the raw source it seemed to
be as you say. But see below.
Do you still have those two emails in your Sent mailbox, the one
built with the "second" method and about which SpamCop complained,
and the one built with the "first" method and about which SpamCop
didn't complain?
If yes, could you send me privately their raw sources?
Yes, I do.
As a test, I sent 15 spams as a batch using your Applescript with the
"Forward as Attachment" method and waited for the processing report
from SpamCop. Sure enough, 3 of them were considered to be lacking IP
addresses to parse. I then took the *SAME* 15 spams and used the old
script which first broke them down into to resend them to SpamCop.
This time, *ALL* of them were accepted as parse-able. I try not to
test it this way as it skews SpamCop's statistics since the same spams
are reported multiple times.
I'll send you both of my tests above in raw source and the results
from SpamCop as 4 separate emails privately so you can see what I
mean. The original test had 3 spams using your AppleScript and 1 spam
(the one that didn't get parsed) using the old script so it adds
another variable where there is a batch submission versus a single
submission and which may have affected the comparison in some manner.
