Learn Applescript, 3rd Edition. Hamish Sanderson & Hanaan Rosenthal. This latest edition was published last year and is up to date, including a good intro chapter on ApplescriptObjC. Published by APress and can be either a pdf (1018 pages!) or printed version. I'm an Applescript book junkie and this one is good.
