As you've found, ASTranslate doesn't know how to display user-defined
property names or raw AE codes. [1]
I've posted an update (0.5.2) that provides more helpful error
messages when ASTranslate is unable to translate something due to
dodgy application dictionaries or mistyped property names.

[1] You have to use appscript's lower level aem interface to work with
user-defined properties or raw AE codes, but that's not an area
ASTranslate covers. Not many folks need to use the lower level APIs
and those that do presumably know what they're doing, so it's not
worth implementing translators for those.
