True.  That's why I put forth the Satimage.osax as a start (which is what I use), but there are a couple of very comprehensive case handlers out in the wild.  I just didn't want to take the time to search for them.

The TextCommands FBA also has some case functions, although I don't find a convenient place to download it after a bit of Googling.  (I can scrounge up a copy I do believe if anyone wants it, however if anyone knows of a link to same I'd like to have it.)

I think it likely too that Perl, Python, and Ruby can handle case changes with some alacrity.
