I am trying to retrieve the current machine name and user.  Does anyone know the proper syntax to get that info.

Thanks in advance

Bob Cuilla

As far as I know, one at least of the infos (computer name) must be extracted from (system info).
So, my preffered instruction is :

{short user name, long user name, computer name, host name} of (system info)

which extracts only once (system info).
Of course you may remove the unwanted parameter in the posted instruction.

Why is it necessary to enclose system info with parenthesis ?
