Ah. Then attachments should be working. Have you tried putting them before the text instead of after?

Right. I scripted Eudora at a high level for 10 years. Eudora's signature block was actually a text area separate from the message area which was most convenient.
Keep in mind that Mail scripting is lobotomized.
Once you exit the create message script you can't do anything with the message via script. You have to do everything in one fell swoop.
