It looks like NSRunningApplication's +runningApplicationsWithBundleIdentifier: and NSWorkspace's -URLForApplicationWithBundleIdentifier: return a URL whose last component provides the right thing, too. Which is kind of strange, because the path of the URL is often effectively a path to a file that doesn't really exist.
