Thanks Rudolph

I'm aware that reorganisation of lots of icons is slow, that's why the script warns it will be slow with large selections (but it's very, very slow with thousands, it seems to increase in time exponentially).

However, I'm interested in whether or not it works with Snow Leopard with just a few selected.

The problem is reading, and resetting, the positions of the selected icons. It's a very slow process with scripting. If there's a way of doing it with Objective-C I'd appreciate knowing.

Anyone?

Regards

Santa
