I've just been experimenting with trying to determine if an application has been launched from an image disk mounted by a .dmg file. (I don't want this to happen. It will cause problems!)
Some of the properties returned by "Finder" or "System Events" are interesting, but don't seem to be exactly what I'm looking for.
I would like to determine if the image disk is 'readonly' or not. But the properties 'readonly' or 'writable' do not appear anywhere in the "Finder" or "System Events" dictionaries.
Has anyone solved this problem before?
Have any suggestions?
How do I get the 'readonly' property of a disk?
