Wow.  You'd need to talk to the browser and then see if you can find a way to talk to Flash.

I think that's asking a lot.  Is this your Flash movie?  Can you expose any internals ala the page container's  JavaScript?

I would expect that you could use AS to communicate to JS items on the page.  If your Flash movie has exposed its guts to a JS API, then it would seem like this might be possible.

Note that I'm just guessing here.
