Alias files embed a lot of datas so they become really large ones.
My understanding is that they store datas for QuickLook.
I looked at some of those available on my desktop. The 5th one is a 2.6 Mbytes one.
Yours have an average size of 4.6 Mbytes so I’m not really surprized.
