Aliases suck ass. Simply put, that is it. I have a 4 KB file and the alias to it is massive.
They are simply bloated way beyond their initial purpose and it sucks.
It's meant to be a damn pointer, a representative for where the source file is. These should not be shit massive.
We need something that is in between a symbolic link and an alias, but without the massive file bloat.
