GIF to PDF with Applescript ONLY

Hi from rainy Brittany,

Mac OSX 10.7.5

I want to batch convert GIF files to PDF using Revolution
LiveCode, but although LiveCode command IMPORT can import
pdf files, EXPORT doesn't accept PDF output. So I decided
to build an AppleScript script, which I would call for
each file I converted (so I can use a progress bar).
I looked everywhere on the internet for a solution.
All I could find were 101 ways to do it with Automator,
or with paying Utitities, but nothing with Applescript.

Anybody got any ideas for a dead simple AppleScript ?

Thanks for any input.

-Francis
