Title: Re: how to script QT to export file to mp4 format?
Hello all,
Dealing with InDesign 5.5: Does anyone know of a way to distinguish an XML tag marker from any other type of character?
All other things in the “character” class are some form of content (letters, numbers, tabs, returns, inline graphics, etc), except XML tags markers, which may are may not exist in text unpredictably, so I can’t reference things like first or last character,
character count, character 3, etc., which is killing me on the project I’m working on. In the dictionary the only mention of tag markers is “Show Tag Markers”. The only exclusion I’ve been able to leverage is grabbing the XML content of an XML element, which
excludes the bounding markers of that element, but still leaves the markers (or the possibility of markers) of the element’s children.
Sorry, sharing my pain.
Brad
