Actually I don't agree with that at all.  ;-)

I'm delighted to have that stuff available, but where I already have established methods that are still working I'll be slow to change.

That doesn't mean I won't change though.

I've been writing Applescript for 20 years.  Mavericks hasn't been around for very long yet.

Time, energy, and attention-span are at a premium right now.

Wait 'til next Christmas before you get too maudlin.
