I used the unhide scheme for 10.8, 10.8.2 then choose to create the alias which is permanent.
At this time (running 10.8.4) my library is hidden.
Maybe it's because I apply always the combo upddaters.
As far as I know, we aren't supposed to speak about 10.8.5 here so I will add nothing about that.
