how to assign a version to an apple script

Hi,

I have a saved an AppleScript as an application.
I am wondering, how can I set a version number for this, so that it shows up in Finder and in "Get Info" window?

I saw somewhere online a note about editing Info.plist in the bundle, but that doesn't seem to help me on my
10.8.2 machine.

Looking forward to any solution anyone can suggest?

Thanks,
Hardik.
