I have a saved an AppleScript as an application.
I am wondering, how can I set a version number for this, so that it shows up in Finder and in "Get Info" window?

I saw somewhere online a note about editing Info.plist in the bundle, but that doesn't seem to help me on my
10.8.2 machine.

I ran into that problem once. I wrote "Script Bundle Tool" so AppleScript would do it for me.
You can download it here … http://lutherfuller.com/Script_Bundle_Tool.html
It still works with 10.8.2.
