Hi Rob and Shane,

I just tested this and, indeed, the "%%DocumentProcessColors:" tag reports only those process inks actually used. For example: the EPS exported from InDesign for a three-color job using Black, Magenta, and spot Purple will contain the following lines:

	%%DocumentProcessColors: (atend)
	%%DocumentCustomColors: (atend)

Then, later in the document:

	%%DocumentProcessColors: Magenta Black
	%%DocumentCustomColors: (Purple)

So reading the EPS as text and parsing the latter two lines (and ignoring the first two) looks like it will indeed give the desired information. That was a brilliant suggestion, Shane!

Regards,
Stan C.
