Care to name and shame the ignoramus responsible, so we can avoid them?

Sand-boxed applications are scriptable -- they always have been. Sand-boxed applications can use NSUserScriptTask under 10.8 to run user-supplied scripts from their own menus/panels, with the only restriction being that the user, not the app, must install the scripts, and they must be in a particular folder.

In other words, the restrictions are when sand-boxed apps try to control *other* applications.

Oh, and Apple is not insisting on sand-boxing except for apps in the App Store.

If only someone's reading and comprehension skills hadn't been deprecated...
