Since v9 I think they have created variables which has opened up a lot of
possibilities.
I don¹t have Advanced, just regular but we host our files on FM server. That
was enough for what we needed, so sorry I can¹t say what the debugger can
do. From the web help files, it would seem to me it¹s not for debugging
Applescript, just internal FM scripts. I highly doubt FM could or would
replicate an Applescript debugger.
