So they have created variables within filemaker scripts? That could be
helpful.

Funny, I have a hypercard stack that I started using about 10 years ago (or
more). It has dozens of scripts that I use every day and contains a ton of
data. I've been wanting to update to a modern program (like FileMaker) for
some time now, but I haven't found anything as easy to use or as fast as
HyperCard. The last version of HyperCard was very fast. Filemaker would be
faster, but not as easy to use. SuperCard and Revolution are much slower and
I haven't found anything as easy to use.
