AppleScript keychain in Mavericks?

Hi gang, is there a way to script an export of everything in the iCloud keychain in Mavericks?

I’m wanting to backup the iCloud keychain locally, like I do for calendars/contacts/notes--just in case.

I’m really striking out:

- the AppleScript KeychainScripting addition is missing under Mavericks

- ‘security’ command gives me errors no matter what I pass it. If it worked the ‘export’ command sounds ideal.

- the encrypted items appear to be in an SQLite database at ~/Library/Keychains/<someuuid>/keychain-2.db-wal i.e. not the usual format keychain you can copy around. Even if iCloud keychain syncing is off, the ‘local’ items keychain is still in the same format.

- been through Google and the Apple development site with no luck.

- viewing passwords in Safari does work, but only for website passwords.

Wondering if I could access the keychain/security framework using the new ‘use framework' in AppleScript, but don’t know where to start on this.

Could use GUI scripting… but yuk.

Thoughts/help appreciated.

Cheers
