Chris Stone pointed out off-list that BBEdit and Tex-Edit Plus have the same problem. BBEdit is not a Carbon app (and neither is the Finder, for that matter). But I suppose they could all be using the same old routine for calculating the bounds.

But Guido's samples implied that the values are offset by 22px, whereas it looks like the bottom coordinate is correct -- meaning the window's depth is out by 22px.

Maybe the folks at BBEdit will have an explanation for whoever reports the bug.
