Expecting to hear crickets but…
Is anyone using Quark 10 and AppleScript successfully, specifically on a 10.9 machine?
My symptoms are that all Quark-specific objects are in “raw” or "<<data” format. Common object types, like integers, are fine.
You can see this throughout Script Debugger’s Explorer function, or if you try to get a set a variable to a value from Quark.
I have turned off “View in raw (Chevron) format” in Script Debugger’s Explorer.
I have tried turning on 32 bit mode in Script Debugger’s Get Info panel.
The issues are limited to Quark only – Adobe apps work fine. I’ve got a lot of experience with AppleScript on earlier versions of Quark and OS X where I don’t have these symptoms.
The problem is not limited to Script Debugger – the script as an application or run via osascript encounters problems with “<<data”.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dave
