Like David, I also deploy AS in a large mutual fund company (specifically, in the marketing department). We use it for workflow, image prep, document creation, and most critically, duct-taping different legacy product and processes together. Many large corporations have dozens of IT fiefdoms that are reluctant to upgrade anything, and AS has been a godsend to my group as we interact with that hodgepodge (example: SOAP calls to ping old databases). Whenever we have partners and clients visit and see our processes and automation, they are gobsmacked to see the efficiency and error control we have enacted with "something that's included for free with Macs". Then we say, "Up here, we're all on Macs." Fold arms; pause for emphasis...

All this is to say, Apple should be aware that such use automation/efficiency cases can be an extremely potent selling point as they approach the huge corporate enterprise market, with all of its legacy encumbrances.
