JavaScript for automation

  • Subject: JavaScript for automation

I am trying to learn JS for automation.
I copied the script shown in the video presentation where a cocoa app was created.

When I run the script, it works, albeit once, but, if saved as an application the window displays for a very brief moment (or none at all) and the only thing I see in console is :

12/4/14 08:30:25.630 sandboxd[274]: ([233]) deleted(233) deny mach-lookup com.apple.desktoppicture

In every single instance of running this app I have the “sandbox” word showing up in console.
Is an app that I created myself prevented to run in my own computer?
Isn’t that taking a very stringent approach to security?
