Woah! That's an interesting trick. Where did that come from? 

I don't suppose it's...err, y'know, like _documented_ anywhere is it?  (Prepares for guffaw). 

My editor app hasn't got a control-command-Run, and a normal command-run (OSAScript executeAndDisplay) of that Location script crashes it flat on the floor. Apple's Script Editor works just as you say, and even thought a normal 'command-Run' doesn't do anything, it doesn't crash it either.
