Well if log used to be redirected to stdOut with osascript and no longer is, that should be logged as a bug. FWIW, redirecting to stdOut is what happens in ASObjC-based apps built in Xcode.

I've only had a chance to look briefly, but I must say I always get nervous when I see people applying design patterns from other languages to AS.
