I have no idea, but if there should it would be called com.apple.iCal. Try it and see.

There's no way anyone can answer that. However, your idea of "fix" may not be the same as that of a company heavily focused on security issues.

Try a third-party scheduler. Relying on Apple for scripting support has always been a gamble.
