Okay. Here's my plan: (I'll use our iMac for the guinea pig machine.)
I will create an ical subfolder in the Application Scripts folder. Then I'll put a couple of applets in there and attach Calendar event alerts to them.
THEN I will apply the 10.9.2 update……
Then I will report back.
I did go ahead and purchase licenses for Lingon X for our three production systems that rely so heavily on the timers in Calendar. Lingon X is certainly promising and the price is better than right. But the UI with Calendar has been oh so sweet.
I would like to consider Lingon X as my backup, kwim?
